Bleeding and Clotting Disorders

HTCNV provides comprehensive, specialized care for individuals living with coagulation disorders that may increase the risk of serious bleeding, clotting, or both. These conditions include Hemophilia, Von Willebrand Disease, Platelet Dysfunction, Rare Factor Deficiencies, and Inherited or Chronic Thrombotic Disorders.

Our multidisciplinary team offers expert diagnosis, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing support to help patients effectively manage their condition. Whether treating acute bleeding or clotting episodes, preparing for surgery, navigating coexisting health issues, or providing preventative care and education, we are committed to helping patients of all ages live healthy, active lives with confidence.

Sickle Cell Disease

The Sickle Cell Center (SSC), located within HTCNV, provides comprehensive, specialized care for individuals living with sickle cell disease. Our dedicated team offers personalized treatment, disease management, education, and support to help patients reduce complications, manage symptoms, and improve quality of life. Through coordinated, patient-centered care, the SSC empowers individuals and families with the resources and expertise needed to live healthier, more active lives while navigating the challenges of sickle cell disease.

HTCNV Pharmacy Services

As part of the Hemophilia Treatment Center network eligible to participate in the 340B Drug Pricing Program, HTCNV operates an onsite pharmacy dedicated to supporting our patients by providing their specialty clotting factor medications and administration supplies.

The dedicated pharmacy team is fully integrated with your medical services, ensuring cohesive care. We are more than just a place to fill prescriptions- participation in this program helps to reduce medication costs, provides access to integrated medication management services, and also supports our Comprehensive Care model.

While patients always have a choice when it comes to their pharmacy, by utilizing the HTCNV Pharmacy patients help to sustain and potentially expand the comprehensive services we are able to provide for patients including physical therapy, social work services, personalized medical care, 24/7 phone consultation, outreach clinics, procedure coordination, specialized testing, dental services, and bleeding disorder education for patients, parents, community members, and medical professionals.
