About the HTC

Founded in 2017, the Hemostasis & Thrombosis Center of Nevada (HTCNV) is Nevada’s only federally designated hemophilia treatment center (HTC), a specialized center of excellence providing comprehensive multidisciplinary care for people living with bleeding and clotting disorders.

We are a part of a network of nearly 150 centers that specialize in providing care to the bleeding and clotting disorder community nationwide. The team at HTCNV provides subspecialty hematology services with special expertise in clotting factor deficiencies or dysfunction including hemophilia, Von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies, platelet dysfunction, and clotting disorders.

HTCNV delivers patient-centered specialized hematology care for patients with these rare blood disorders across the entire state through our Outreach Program. The Comprehensive Care model provided by Hemophilia Treatment Centers like HTCNV has been shown to improve quality of life for these patients, promoting a longer lifespan and improved patient function while also decreasing healthcare utilization and costs. HTCNV also has a pharmacy to support the specialized needs of our patients including clotting factor medications and supplies.

In addition to staffing a multidisciplinary team of specialists, the HTCNV has a provider accessible 24 hours a day, everyday. While primarily based in Las Vegas, the HTCNV maintains an office in Reno & services patients in Ely, Elko, Winnemucca, & Owyhee, Nevada.
